Pvt. Kenneth C Wythe, age 19
who was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in France in August,
was killed in action in France on 24 Nov. 1944.
In uniform a year, he was fighting with the Third army.
He was a Capitol Hill high school graduate.
His parents Robert S. Wythe and Dessie E. Coates
received his second Purple Heart after his death.
