Goulash



Description:
An old recipe that my parents used to make on a regular basis.
My family likes it better with the optional things added in.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 green bell pepper chopped
2 Tablespoons butter
2 cans Stewed tomatoes
1 can whole kennel corn, drained
Salt & pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, finely minced (optional)
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning (optional)
Parmesan cheese or shredded chesse (optional)
1 - 12 oz. package small elbow macaroni (cooked & drained)

Directions:
Sauté onions and bell peppers in butter till tender and onions clear.
Add hamburger and brown meat. Drain grease off of meat mixture.
Add stewed tomatoes and drained corn. Add salt & pepper to taste.
Add optional seasonings, garlic, Italian, etc.
Simmer for approximately 10-15 minutes.
Stir in cooked & drained macaroni and stir together.
Parmesan cheese or shredded chesse can be added to the top before serving (optional).
Serve with a tossed salad and fresh hot garlic bread (optional).
