Stuffed Indian Fried Tacos



Fry Bread Ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water

Fry Bread Directions:
Combine all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add warm water in small amounts and knead until soft but not sticky.
Adjust the flour or water as needed. Cover and let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
Pull off large egg sized balls of dough.
Flatten with hands and turn out into fairly thin rounds.

Stuffing Ingredients:
2-3 pounds Ground beef
2 packs Taco seasonings
1 medium jar Salsa
Grated cheese
Onion large, chopped
2 Cans of chopped tomatoes

Stuffing Directions:
Cook your meat drain it good, put in chopped onion, salsa, taco seasonings,
and canned chopped tomatoes. Let this cook for 5-7 minutes till most of the
sauce is gone let it cool down for 15 minutes. Put spoonful of meat mixture
(depends on size of fry bread) with cheese into each fry bread
seal edges with water. Make sure it is together good or else it will open up
(then you have a mess). Deep fry stuffed rounds in hot oil until bubbles
appear on the dough, turn over and fry on the other side until golden brown.
