Bread Pudding
Description:
A old recipe, but it is still a good dessert.
Ingredients:
1 large can evaporated milk
1 - 2/3 cups water
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 slices bread, buttered and cubed
Directions:
Scold milk then add water, beaten eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Mix well, stir in buttered bread cubes. Pour into a buttered baking dish.
Bake at 350 to 375, until brown.
