Old Fashion Oatmeal Cookies
Description:
This has been a favorite at our house since the 1950's.
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. quick oats
2 tsp. vanilla
Optional
1/4 c. chopped nuts
and/or
1/2 c. peanut butter
Directions:
Boil sugar, butter, cocoa & milk for 1 1/2 min.
Start timing after it reaches a full rolling boil.
Add oats & vanilla. Optional add the nuts and/or peanut butter
Still well.
Drop by spoonfuls on a well buttered cookie sheet or wax paper.
Number Of Servings: Just depends on how big you make your drops of cookies. :)
