Fruit Salad

Mother always fixed this for the holidays!

Ingredients:

1 box - large, family size Cherry Jello
4 large or 6 small Apples (winesap)
4 large or 6 small bananas
1 cup chopped pecans


Directions:

Prepare jello as directed (in a large bowl), place in refrigerator to begin setting up. Peel apples, core, quarter and cut into good bit size pieces. Peel bananas, remove all stripping and slice into bit size round pieces. Chop pecans. When jello is partially set, fold in apples, bananas and nuts. Place back in refrigerator until jelled. After a while if fruit has settled to the bottom of bowl, turn gently from the bottom.
