Mom's Cornbread Dressing


Mother never measured anything.

Ingredients:

Turkey Broth
Eggs (Boiled and Diced)
Giblets (Boiled and Diced)
Cornbread (Whole Pan)
Dried out bread
Celery (Diced)
Onions (Diced)
Sage
Salt
Pepper


Directions:

Crumble pan of cornbread and dried out bread together in large baking pan. (About equal amount of each)
Add celery and onions to bread mix.
Add salt, pepper, eggs and giblets to above, Mix well.
Add enough turkey broth to make moist, Mix well.
Add sage to taste, Mix well.
Bake in hot oven, until light brown or to your liking.

NOTE:
Save giblet broth for Giblet Gravy!

I use;
equal amount of eggs, onion and celery (1 to 2 cup each, diced).
2 - 6 oz. packages of yellow buttermilk cornbread mix.
1 large loaf white bread, lightly toasted.
This makes a large pan!
