Mom's Glazed Ham


Ingredients:

1 Whole Ham
Whole cloves
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 Tablespoons Honey
1 can (8 oz.) Pineapple Rings


Directions:

With a sharp knife, make cuts 1/4 inch deep in a diamond pattern in ham. Stud with whole cloves at the corner of each diamond. Blend sugar, mustard, honey and juice of pineapple in a pan. Heat until hot, stirring often. Spoon half on top of the ham.

Bake Ham at 325 degrees, covered;

8 to 10 pounds 2 3/4 to 3 hours
10 to 12 pounds 3 to 3 1/2 hours
12 to 15 pounds 3 1/2 to 4 hours
16 to 18 pounds 4 to 4 1/2 hours

When Done;
Arrange pineapple rings on top of ham, spoon on the rest of the glaze. Garnish with maraschino cherries if desired.

I double the glaze recipe so we have some to serve at the table!

If you are not going for looks.
In place of the whole cloves and pineapple rings,
you can use ground cloves and diced pineapple.
Mix everything together, heat then spoon half on top of the ham!
