Chicken Pan Pie
Description:
This is really good, I think it taste better with real cooked potatoes.
If you want a bigger variety of vegetables,
you could use 3 cans of drained veg-all mixed vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 - 2 pound Chicken (cut into bite size)
1 can Chicken Broth
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 (15 oz.) can Lesueur Early Peas (Drained)
1 (16 oz.) can Diced Carrots (Drained)
1 (16 oz.) can New Potatoes (Drained & Diced)
2 sticks butter
2 cups milk
2 cups self-rising flour
Directions:
Melt 1/2 stick of butter in skillet, cook chicken until light brown.
Melt 1/2 stick of butter in a 9 x 13 baking dish,
add chicken broth and cream of chicken soup, mix well.
Add the drained carrots, peas, diced potatoes and cooked chicken, mix well.
Crust:
Add together; flour, milk and 1 stick of melted butter,
mix well and pour over chicken.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until brown.
