A easy dish that may help get the kids to eat their carrots.
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh carrots (peeled and cut into bite size slices)
1/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 1/2 table spoons butter
pinch of salt
Directions:
Cook carrots in boiling water for about 10 minutes or until soft but not mushy.
Drain the water out. Place the pot back onto a medium high heat and add all ingredients.
Stir until mixture is well incorporated and forms a glaze.
Remove from heat allow to cools slightly and serve.
